Write a Note is not a classical or traditional piece of jewellery, it is an hybrid of jewellery and function.

The aim of Chiara Parlanti’s work is to engage the viewer and let them interact with her work as she believes that jewellery is a medium of communication.

Chiara has produced a small and delicate gift box with all the “tools” to write a message to a special person.

Write a Note consists in a collection of six gift boxes.

Each box is a kit which is composed of a ring , a small pencil and a note pad.

Three rings are sterling silver that she cast with cuttlefish bones and the others three are a combination of acrylic and silver.
