This collection of jewellery was created based on the notion of fairy tales not being as innocent as they seem to be, compared to when they were told to us as children. When these stories are read again as an adult, we can see how a lot of them are quite horrific. Each piece of jewellery comes with a container that shows a sinister scene from three chosen fairy tales. Three is a number that is often used in fairy tales – Three Little Pigs, The Three Bears and The evil Queen trying to kill Snow White three times… There is a leaflet for each piece with a shortened version of the story focusing on the event I and others found most frightening.
