FdA Book Conservation

Events

This new two-year FdA Book Conservation course has been designed by conservation educators in close collaboration with the British Library and the book conservation departments of major UK cultural institutions. The course focuses on the conservation of books while exploring the broader context of conservation as a profession. The multi-disciplinary nature of conservation, with its combination of the humanities, sciences and craft skills, is particularly appealing to those with a strong interest in cultural heritage who enjoy a variety of approaches to learning. Workbased learning with industry partners including the British Library, The National Archive, Dundee University, National Library and National Archives of Scotland.
