FdA Design Practice

I believe that design should be both fit for purpose and have careful thought and intelligent reasoning behind it. It should convey a message clearly and concisely with a final outcome that demonstrates a combination of aesthetics and functionality.

I am a designer who has a keen interest in the future of our planet and a strong belief in sustainable design. This means, considerations like the opportunity for the re-use and re-cycling of a final product and what the environmental and economic impacts of sourcing materials are very important to me.

I appreciate simple clear design with a solid concept and strong emphasis on typography. A lot of my work reflects this though every brief requires an individual approach and every client an original piece that corresponds to their identity and client base.

  • Oat_couture

A series of yoghurt pots designed for the Quaker Oats brand. This brief was part of the D&AD student awards.

  • Abstract2

    A personal project.

  • My_world_smaller

    Experimentation with abstract forms.

  • This is an animation inspired by a quote from the book ‘The Centre Cannot Hold’. It is a representation of the feelings that someone with schizophrenia experiences.

  • An animatic based purely on ‘me’ as a designer and where I have come from. I came from a very scientific background before studying at Camberwell. This animatic reflects that in it’s style and shows my journey.
