Philip Morris
Events
My practice exists as an investigation into found materials, the workmanship of risk and the use of universal forms. Circumstance, substance and form are three key aspects meticulously considered in my methodology.
The circumstance in which I encounter potential material is governed by an implemented restriction on the environment from which I can scavenge, a parallel with Rauschenberg’s ‘house rule’. The sourcing of material in a one-mile circumference of my house, 1 Northlands Street, dictates the substance from which I can work.
