Lindsay J. Haynes
My name is Lindsay Jean Haynes. I am a small, 23 year old illustrator from Bristol, currently to be found mainly in South-east London.
My work is a combination of bright colours, simple forms, organic textures, wide-eyed wonder and youthful exuberance. I like to hover somewhere between nostalgic and contemporary, not trying to make my illustrations look old fashioned but creating something that seems current but has an aesthetic that makes it seem familiar and comforting. I am mainly fueled by joy, a childlike sense of fun, and sugar-based foodstuffs.
I am currently available for commissions and other lovely things like that.
