Angharad Wyn Parry

As a Welsh girl living in London, Angharad has always been intrigued by the concept of home. “Home Comfort/Cysur Cartref” reflects hers and around 80 other individuals’ opinions of what and where home is, and what things make a place home through the use of needlework, print and typography.
As a designer she feels most at home when working with her hands, which is reflected in a portfolio containing hand rendered typography, illustration and craft. The influence of Welsh, her native tongue, features strongly in her creations.
From July 2010 Angharad will be permanently based back in Wales, but plans on maintaining a strong connection with the creative community in London.
