If anything, my work is about distance.
In ‘The unknown’ and ‘The unknown horizons’ series, there is an invitation for an immersion into the photographed scene but the same tragedy repeats itself in looking at the photograph as it did in taking and making it for the eye can only perceive but it cannot reach. The title’s ‘unknown’ refers to both the world being ultimately unknown to the human being and the human being as a stranger on earth.
