The beauty of life is tightly bound around the disappearing nature of things. What interests me in photography is that each image is closely related to death. My work is about time and the past tense in particular.

Time is hidden in the surface of old photographs, in erosion of a rock, in a steam on a mirror, in a scar on a person’s skin, in a thin ice of a lake. Nothing lasts forever. Things have got a tendency to change.

I’m particularly interested in reflections and shadows of things. They are as fading as the time, as blurry as our memories.
