Our focus on a rigorous investigation of the potential of materials is what makes the Camberwell sculpture course distinct. Underpinning the students’ work is a dynamic studio-based culture. Our large, bespoke sculpture spaces and specialist sculpture workshops, which include a foundry and casting facilities, encourage students to test their ideas in an ambitious range of media and processes.
The work in this year’s sculpture degree show reflects this approach. Each student’s work provides a deep enquiry into what sculpture may be and how making and thinking can combine to explore a broad range of ideas.
