We do not come with an instruction manual.

My main interest lies in the idea that people are constantly preoccupied with themselves, with stream of questions they face of how to solve their everyday problems, the unending search for that ultimate right way to experience and to deal with life.
My videos are based on texts I’ve collected from self-help books, psychology magazine articles, Internet community sites and by doing interviews.When reading and analysing texts I begin to question the given information and intuitively search for alternative ways to interpret them.
The ideas of the imagery for the video footage follow that same intuitive process developing through trial and error. I intend to find images that often are in contradiction between the text and support the interpretation allowing mostly melancholic as well as humoristic notions to appear.
